Marvin Ducksch charged with drink driving

Marvin Ducksch has been charged with drink driving after a three-vehicle crash on Easter Monday. He will appear before magistrates in Leamington on May 20. The striker was arrested at the scene of the incident, on the A3400 near Henley-in-Arden, close to Blues training ground. Opposition insight – Hull City, away

Can Blues cause another twist in the play-off race? Contents: Back in August, if you told anybody associated with Birmingham City that they’d have a big hand in the play-off race come the final four games, everybody would have taken it. The Red Dragons have been markedly better than Blues, but a run of two wins in six have hindered their

Contents: When these two sides faced off in the Championship curtain raiser, there was already a sense that the game may have ramifications for the promotion race. Blues were hotly tipped to be amongst the league’s best whilst Ipswich were the bookies’ title favourites before a ball was kicked. Perhaps George Hirst’s late penalty was where it all started to unravel for Chris Davies’ side.

Easter messaging

Blues return to action with an Easter message filtering out from the club that is it very much business as usual. Blackburn Rovers are the visitors to St. Andrew’s on Good Friday before a trip to Ipswich Town on Easter Monday. Chris Davies has been preparing the team as normal and, having had talks with owners Knighthead about recent form and direction – which the manager said is standard procedure – the focus is on
